Can I communicate with clients outside the platform?

No. Kolabtree strongly encourages users to remain on the platform for all communication, first within private messages and later in the workspace once you are hired. Private messages provide a quick and easy way to communicate, share files and relevant documentation, and maintain an accurate record of all communication. This becomes especially important in case of payment-related disputes. 

However, we understand that occasional telephone conversations may be necessary to discuss project details. In such cases, please schedule the call through our platform and record a summary of the conversation on private message with the client.
