Payment Terms & Conditions



  1. Pay-In Partners (Client to Kolabtree) 

A client can Fund their project on our platform after they have hired an expert using any of the following 3 methods : 


(i) Stripe - Credit or Debit Card (VISA/Mastercard/VISA/VISADebit/MasterCard/Discover/JCB/American Express) 

(ii) Bank Transfer - USD 25 extra to be paid as via transfer charges; Kolabtree suggests to go for this option only if amount is more than USD 1000 



Important: 


  • When client releases the funds for the project, an immediate Invoice is created from the platform as soon as the payment is done as per the following details: 

Freelancer to Client – Complete project value invoice (amount that has been transferred)

  • All Funds will first be added to your Kolabtree Wallet, then you can transfer amount to your project/s i.e. Fund your project 

  • The amount you have funded your project with becomes your Committed Balance for that project - payment to expert will be made from this amount 

  • The remaining amount in your wallet is your Uncommitted Balance 

  • Kolabtree does not charge any fee from the client for any mode of payment.


  1. Pay-Out Partner (Kolabtree to Freelancer) 

Freelancers will receive the payment through Payoneer



Important: 


  • Experts must be registered on Payoneer for payouts i.e. to receive payments from Kolabtree 

  • Payout cannot be processed unless there is a Minimum Balance of USD 49.99 

  • When client releases the funds for the project, an immediate Invoice is created from the platform as soon as the payment is done 


Disclaimer

  • Kolabtree bears the sending charges for sending money to the Freelancers; any charges levied by the Freelancer’s bank for receiving the money or Forex loss will have to be borne by the Freelancers.
